An Armored Car Carrier is an entity which, for hire, provides secured transportation of valuables by means of "specially designed and constructed bullet-resistant armored vehicles and armored car guards." Thus, an entity which carries valuables for hire by means of non-armored vehicles, for instance, a moving company, is not within the contemplation of this law. It is the responsibility of licensees to understand the Armored Car Carriers and Armored Car Guards License Law.

Term of licensure is three years
