How It Works

New York State funds designated Community Action Agencies (CAAs) who work with eligible individuals to help them gain increased self-sufficiency, improved living conditions. A core tenet of CSBG is providing services that strengthen communities, family and local support systems.

Assistance

Your local CSBG funded agency may be able to assist you in obtaining a job, find stable housing, identify reliable child care, nutritional needs or help you during a time of crisis.  For further information, please click below to contact your local CAA.

Eligibility

All individuals and families who wish to participate in CSBG funded services must have a household income at or below 200% of the currently established Federal Poverty Guidelines.
