What do the terms "experience" and "equivalent position and experience" mean?

"Experience" is defined as two years of full-time security experience, such as sheriff, police officer, or security guard in a governmental agency or with a licensed private investigator or WGP agency.

Generally speaking, "equivalent experience" is defined as two years in a position where the primary duties were the performance of security guard services or two years' experience reviewing and supervising the work of at least three persons performing security services.

If I have an employment agency license, can I also obtain a WGP license?

No. If you have an employment agency license, or are a member of a partnership, or an officer or a holder of any stock in a corporation, or have any financial interest or participation in the control and management of any employment agency, you are NOT eligible to hold a WGP license.
