Overview

The Department offers various grant funding opportunities to help bolster New York’s communities and vulnerable citizens. These opportunities range from streamlining local governments through the Local Government Efficiency Program to helping local governments revitalize their communities and reconnect to their waterway through the Environmental Protection Fund Local Waterfront Revitalization Program. The Department also offers the Brownfield Opportunity Area program for communities interested in redeveloping brownfields and manages the Community Services Block Grant program to fight poverty and empower low-income families across the state, the Office for New Americans, and more.

Application and Bid Opportunities
Fiscal Management Office

The Department of State's Fiscal Management Office manages formal competitive procurement opportunities and posts application and bid opportunities with the New York State Contract Reporter.

The Department encourages organizations interested in doing business with DOS to sign up for email notifications from the New York State Contract Reporter provided by Empire State Development.

Once you register with the New York State Contract Reporter, application and bid opportunities can be emailed directly to your organization.
