Overview
The Office of Planning, Development and Community Infrastructure partners with the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation on implementing the Great Lakes Action Agenda, a guide that identifies pressing problems and actions needed to protect natural resources, environmental quality and resilient communities. The agenda helps focus federal and state programs on key challenges faced by areas in New York around the Great Lakes.
Local communities can use the Great Lakes Action Agenda as a tool to plan, fund and track projects that help achieve a shared vision for the conservation, restoration and protection of New York's Great Lakes basin.
