LWRP
The City of Rochester Local Waterfront Revitalization Program is a locally prepared comprehensive land and water use plan for the City's natural, public, and developed waterfront resources along Lake Ontario, the Genesee River and the Erie Canal.
The City of Rochester LWRP refines and supplements the State's Coastal Management Program and provides a comprehensive framework within which critical waterfront issues can be addressed, and planned waterfront improvement projects can be pursued and implemented. This is an amendment to the LWRP originally adopted in 1990 and previously amended in 2011. This latest amendment was approved in 2018. The approval history of City of Rochester LWRP was published in a Final Public Notice.
