Town and Village of Waterford Local Waterfront Revitalization Program

Overview

The Town and Village of Waterford Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) is a locally prepared comprehensive land and water use plan for the Town and Village's natural, public, and developed waterfront resources along the Mohawk and Hudson Rivers and the old Champlain Canal.

The Town and Village of Waterford LWRP provides a comprehensive framework within which critical waterfront issues can be addressed, and planned waterfront improvement projects can be pursued and implemented. The Town and Village of Waterford LWRP was adopted by the Village of Waterford Board of Trustees on September 13, 2008 and the Town of Waterford Town Board on September 8, 2009, and approved by the New York State Secretary of State on April 20, 2010.
