Village of Alexandria Bay and Town of Alexandria Local Waterfront Revitalization Program

Overview

The Village of Alexandria Bay and Town of Alexandria Local Waterfront Revitalization Program is a locally prepared comprehensive land and water use plan for the natural, scenic, public, and developed waterfront resources along the St. Lawrence River, Otter Creek, Cranberry Creek and Crooked Creek in the Village and Town.

The Village of Alexandria Bay and Town of Alexandria LWRP refines and supplements the State's Coastal Management Program and provides a comprehensive framework within which critical waterfront issues can be addressed, and planned waterfront improvement projects can be pursued and implemented. The approval history of the Village of Alexandria Bay and Town of Alexandria LWRP can be found in the final public notice published in the New York State Register (pages 139-140) on December 30, 2020 at: https://dos.ny.gov/december-30-2020vol-xlii-issue-52.
